The slight slope allows for a ground-floor entry on the north side and a garden side facing the lake on the floor below. This design accommodates the original natural terrain, giving nuanced expression to the outdoor spaces. The address is easily located on Freihofstrasse on the north side. The central stairwell features natural light and provides access to five apartments per floor. The social housing complex contains 25 apartments in total. Construction choices rely on proven systems: while the supporting structure is a solid construction, the roughcast exterior adheres to a certain norm for residential buildings. The wooden parts lend the building a delicate and subtle character. Thanks to special building codes, the top floor can be fully utilized. In return, the project has to meet increased design standards (evaluation by an expert).
